OUR LATE NOVEMBER BIKE TOUR through Southeast Arizona was short and sweet - just 5 days and about 250 miles. It's the ideal time of year for this part of Arizona and our weather was perfect with highs around 75F and lows about 40F.

Except for Mule Pass before Bisbee and the switchback dirt road through the Coronado National Forest and Chiricahua National Monument the scenery was much like the banner at the top of this page - wide open vistas, long straight roads through the valleys, and craggy mountain peaks on every horizon.

Armed with an altimeter on my new cyclometer, I'll include some notes on elevations which might be of interest to other cyclists. Traffic was very light and roads were nicely surfaced and free of litter along the entire route. Next
